In the role of Temp Principal Advisor (Installations) you will work closely with the Transition Director Bus and Ferry to support the project management, logistics and relationship management activities required to transition all SEQ and Regional Bus and Ferry Operators from their current diverse various ticketing solutions, hardware and operating procedures, to the new Smart Ticketing solution; aligning them to the public transport ticketing operational model that will be in place across Queensland.

You will support the project management of significant and complex organisational and operational change required for the Operator and their customers.


Accountabilities include:

  • Managing stakeholder relationships, including the provision of support to transport operators through operational oversight of transport operator transition from current ticketing solutions and operating models to the new Smart Ticketing solution and operating models. Act as conduit between internal program teams for all infrastructure installation related matters. Work with the Supplier and Operators to provide guidance, coordination, and assurance support throughout the process of mode preparation and installation of works. Provide logistic oversight and work with CTS, subcontractors, and Operators to arrange the delivery of equipment to sites prior to installation following all WHS and timing requirements and then removal / rotation to next site if required. Structure and manage the Installation document life cycle by recording on Asite, and relevant directories and registers, all site surveys / WH&S documents / Install plans / civils & defects management / IAT (initial Acceptance Testing) / updated drawings and lessons learned. Manage and coordinate the implementation of Operators golive events including facilitating regular progresstoplan meetings with all contributing Smart Ticketing program streams and Supplier. Develop and maintain the project schedule for all assigned works tracking the progress of key dependent deliverables from contributing Smart Ticketing program streams and Supplier. Facilitate resolution of all installation and infrastructure risks and issues including those raised by Operators. Work with team members including the WH&S Manager and Install Leads to assist, when required, either on site or in the office to deliver project requirements. Track the management of the Installation and Infrastructure subset of the Smart Ticketing program budget. Ensure appropriate levels of project status reporting and supporting documentation are developed and maintained to capture all engagement and support activities provided by this role. Assist with planning and oversight across all installation activities. Participation in the Installations team extensive travel commitments across Queensland to complete install works and golive events. Other accountabilities and tasks as reasonably directed
