As a Senior Service Delivery Consultant, with Cyber Security experience, your role's pivotal in uncovering and translating customer needs and requirements to ensure and constantly improve excellent service delivery.


You'll excel in this Security Service Delivery role by being customer experience obsessed and demonstrating strong customer advocacy using a deep understanding of their systems and business priorities to identify and implement opportunities that enhance the customer service experience.

As a Senior Security Service Delivery Consultant, with Cyber Security experience, you'll help to optimise the utilisation of people, tools, and technologies to enhance the customer's Cyber Security Group


You might currently be a technical Security Consultant/ Engineer, looking to utilise your security experience in a more service-based way, and if so, will train, coach and up-skill you in the Service Delivery space, or a Service Delivery Consultant / Manager who's had experience in Cyber Security projects / contracts.

Please note, it's
_essential_ that the person coming into this role is technically knowledgeable within Cyber Security specifically.

This particular position will also suit someone happy being on customer site 2-4 days per week
_in the beginning_, while you're building the rapport and trust with the customer. This will give you the opportunity to really embed and immerse yourself in the customer you're working with.

What you'll do


This is a super varied role with lots of responsibility, where you'll have the opportunity to role up your sleeves and use your Cyber Security and Service knowledge.

Here's a snapshot of what you'll do.- Work with the customer on the development and enhancement of the operating model the service uses- Work with the Telstra security teams to scale-up the service as required in the case of P1 and P2 incidents or critical security and high-risk events- Manage the reporting and provision of the services Telstra are providing to the customer- Assist and review the customer's cyber preparedness, and assist in yearly cyber exercises, as required, or requested- Assist in the coordination of testing of Telstra business continuity for the service.

Provide input into the BCP Plan for the customer SOC.

Provide advice and guidance on the plans to ensure service continuity- Organise info sessions between the Telstra Security Experts and the customer's Cyber Security Group- Facilitate training and documentation of the service, including process flows and continuous improvement.- Document the Knowledge base articles for the support, engagement, service level management and reporting of the Telstra Purple security engagements, incidents, and requests.

- Reporting, documentation, change management, post incident reports, problem management, Request Management, and Service Level reporting- Facilitate and provide supporting documentation to implement a request for change for remediation of an event

About you- Cyber Security experience and knowledge, and bonus points if you've used this in a Service Management role, with knowledge of ITIL processes- Local to Brisbane so you're within easy reach of the customer site- You understand incident and request workflows to optimise engagement of Telstra Purple security teams- You've got a resilient and robust personality, with demonstrated experience working on complex projects and are experienced in overcoming challenging situations, bringing stakeholders on the journey- You're a professional plate-spinner, who can manage ambiguity/complexity and guides the team in responding to constantly changing requirements and priorities- You have demonstrated ability to act with urgency and responsiveness to stakeholder issues, prioritising multiple activities to deliver the best outcome- Project coordination or Project Management is a plus
