Description

This role is responsible for supporting customers via inbound calls with Business Banking enquiries, account openings and/or processes while balancing team, customer, risk and performance outcomes.


This role is a permanent full time role.
These roles will be based at Heritage Lanes Office in Brisbane City.

It will include 3 months training, following which you will have the opportunity to work from home 3 days per week.


What you'll do:


  • Respond to incoming calls and online enquiries from Business Banking customers regarding account, card, and digital banking enquiries.
  • Complete followup tasks that require Outbound calls to Business Banking customers
  • Work within a quality driven and compliant environment
  • Manage complaints within required timeframes, policy and procedures.
  • Assist the Suncorp Group's understanding of and meeting of holistic customer needs (through genuine Connected Customer conversations). Collaborate across channels to meet customer needs.
  • Contribute to a team culture that is balanced across people, customer, risk and performance.
  • Ensure a safe environment that allows all staff across Suncorp the ability to escalate and discuss issues and risks with their Leader or LOR.
  • Accountable for maintaining high data quality standards by ensuring information captured in Suncorp's systems and documentation are correct and maintained in a timely manner.
  • Accountable for operating responsibly within the parameters of your approved delegations.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal policies and procedures and external requirements, including legislative requirements such as Privacy and FSRA as well as the Underwriting Guidelines.

What you'll bring:


  • Previous Banking customer service experience
  • Experience within a contact centre environment or an operational/support role desirable.
  • High level computer literacy and navigation skills.
  • Experience in delivering high quality customer experience within required timeframes.
  • Demonstrated ability to use customer and commercial acumen to enhance overall performance across people, customer and risk measures.
  • Good problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Demonstrated ability to work as a supportive team member
  • Committed to selfdevelopment and opportunities to increase capability in role.
  • Computer literacy and navigation skills.
