As an Assistant in Nursing, you'll provide direct care to patients in accordance with the nursing care plan and under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Duties include assisting with patient care interventions and maintaining accurate health care documentation.


The Multi-Purpose Service (MPS) model exists in smaller communities and integrates a range of health services, including acute care, respite and palliative care, emergency, allied health, primary health and community health, under one management structure.


If you have:


  • CHC30208 Certificate III in Aged Care or CHC33015 Certificate III in Individual Support, or equivalent qualification;
    OR equivalent experience;
    OR completion of one (1) or more years of training as an undergraduate nursing student
  • Good knowledge of basic nursing care, including physiologic observations and assistance with activities of daily living
  • Effective communication skills, computer skills and the ability to work as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team
  • Availability and capacity to participate in a 24 hour/seven day rotating roster
