We are currently seeking experienced WHS Officer for an immediate start in the Geelong area

Daily Tasks

  • Formally review subcontractor safe work method statements, safety data sheets, licences and insurances where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance is achieved and maintained on site through inductions, registers, plans, checklists, and ongoing monitoring of site activities.
  • Complete and maintain all relevant site HSEQ documentation
  • Provide site inductions to contractors and project stakeholders
  • Where required, assist in escorting visitors through the site
  • Ensure subcontractor and visitor compliance with site rules and entry requirements
  • Assist the site manager in providing HSEQ input to site toolbox and prestart meetings, including minuting and distribution
  • Conduct toolbox meetings when required
  • Conducting weekly site safety walks with the site manager and report nonconformances
  • Develop and implement action plans for nonconformances
  • Actively consult with the project team on HSEQ issues
  • Provide first aid assistance to any injured persons
