The roleThe Advanced Public Health Officer is responsible for providing advanced strategic leadership, advice and analysis for the development, coordination, implementation and evaluation of complex preventive health policy and strategy (state and national level) to improve the health and wellbeing of Queenslanders, with a particular focus on the three national cancer screening programs.


The successful personYou will have:

- a tertiary degree in Health Promotion or Public Health.
- the ability to lead strategic change through effective communication, consultation and negotiation skills.
- flexibility in approach to work and working environment and willingness to participate in cross program initiatives.
