We have a great opportunity for an experienced
Finance Business Partner to support our Operations team.

About the Role:

The Finance Business Partner will partner with Operations Leads to provide key commercial and financial information on various project lifecycles.

A self-starter, you will own key financial information and analysis in order to correctly assess projects throughout their lifecycle.

You'll also:

Influence business partner decision making with factbased insights and innovative analysis.
Complete business cases for any new business initiatives
Collaborate with the buying team to build robust budgets and forecasts. Carry out effective weekly and monthly review of results.
Identify and define system improvements to enhance the delivery of team and Coles wide objectives
Support the governance surrounding all business processes and ensure an appropriate audit trail is maintained. Drive objectives through ensuring business priorities and day to day processes are delivered

About You and Your Skills

We're after an experienced and well-rounded Finance Business Partner that has had experience working in a retails or operations background

You'll also need:

Ideally CA, CPA or similar business qualification
Communication skills, both verbal and written
Analytical and problemsolving skills
Finance experience in a retail/FMCG environment desirable but not essential
Experience with project finance support and ideally creating new P&Ls and building transactional and reporting processes
Experience of working with and influencing nonfinancial stakeholders
Proven experience in preparing, understanding and analysing financial information to identify business opportunities/challenges and recommend alternate actions
Proven ability to challenge & influence key business stakeholders to develop 'win win' solutions
