About the role


We're seeking a Delivery Lead to work with the Delivery Manager - Tolling on the delivery of projects; maintenance and enhancements related to Transurban's Core Tolling Platform.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Leading a delivery squad of Business Analyst, Developers and Testers for the Tolling platform in the capacity of a Squad lead.
  • Lead and manage the technical scope of work in programs of work for the Tolling team and ensure that there are processes to manage scope exceptions and additions.
  • Working with the Delivery Manager Tolling work to Identify and manage Tolling asset and delivery risks in accordance with corporate and risk management guidelines.
  • Work with the Delivery Manager Tolling to determine team project costs as input to the Business Case reviews and Project planning.
  • Ensure that the project is technically and functionally delivered to meet business objectives and expectations within the approved funding provided
  • Be proactive in reaching out to stakeholders and building internal and external networks to gather and share information.
  • Assisting the Delivery Manager Tolling to proactively engage and manage Tolling system vendors, contract establishment as required and interface with key vendor leadership roles
  • Work with the Delivery Manager Tolling to determine team project costs as input to the Business Case reviews and Project planning.
  • Ensure that the project is technically and functionally delivered to meet business objectives and expectations within the approved funding provided

This role will suit someone with a curious mind and transferrable skills and experiences, including:

  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology with a minimum of 3 years playing a leadership role in software development.
  • Experience in Coaching Agile Teams as a Scrum Master
  • Experience leading teams of technical resources and people leadership experience
  • Proven experience and leadership as a Delivery Lead, Scrum master or Engineering manager of the Tolling domain and experience in delivering complex programs of work in a customer experience centric or consumer technology environment.
  • Strong understanding of Tolling domain and technical skills. Good understanding and experience in using the principles of Agile, CICD and DevSecOps.
  • Strong understanding of software development practices, methodologies, and tools
  • Good stakeholder relationship building skills
  • Certification as a Certified Scrum Master (desired)
  • Certification as a Oracle Developer or Administrator (desired)
