This role supports the flow of products and information both within the company and at all interfaces with subsidiaries, customers, and suppliers.
Job Description:
Position responsibilities will include:
- Leading, managing and developing a team of office and warehouse employees
- Delivering operational cost, quality and service objectives
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve processes, operational efficiency and service
Qualifications:
We are looking for a conscientious professional with the ability to work autonomously, grow the business, and establish effective relationships with internal customers.
You should be able to demonstrate the following:
- A relevant tertiary qualification (preferred)
- Experience in operations management within a complex FMCG warehouse operations
- Successful leader with the ability to develop a strong team
- Good knowledge and experience with implementation of lean methodologies
- Knowledge and experience in WMS systems and processes (SAP preferred)
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint & Excel
- A results driven individual with strong analytical and problemsolving skills
- Project Management and excellent presentation skills
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
