Your new role:
Venue Operations Manager

- known internally as Clubhouse Manager_


Come mid-2023, Hub Martin Place will open its doors. Nestled in Sydney's most prestigious corporate location, this flagship location will boast a world-class premium business lounge, an aperitivo bar with a carefully curated menu, a personalised lifestyle concierge, along with an array of vibrant social and networking events.


As the Clubhouse Manager, you will be the vibrant heart of this space, ensuring smooth operations and leading exceptional guest experiences.

In this role, your motivation and leadership will empower your team to consistently surpass business objectives, financial targets, and member expectations.

At the helm of the Clubhouse, you will foster a collaborative and operational environment, driving member retention, growth, and the promotion of Hub's services.

Your day-to-day will be as dynamic as the space you manage, making every workday an opportunity to influence and inspire.


What your day to day will look like (but not limited to)

  • Lead the team culture with regular dialogue, coaching, and professional advancement opportunities.
  • Drive continuous growth and open feedback culture to enhance performance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely performance metrics for the team.
  • Unveil new systems and procedures, integrating them into the team's daily routines.
  • Advocate for Hub's policies and the commitment to B-Corp certification.
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver a 6star customer experience in alignment with the National Experience Datasheet Systems (EDS).
  • Oversee clubhouse billing processes and handle member complaints in accordance with Hub's policies.
  • Maintain responsibility for member retention metrics, actively driving occupancy and reducing churn rates.
  • Support the Sales Manager and General Manager with sales, while focusing on upselling opportunities within the community.
  • Lead clubhouse tours and strategise marketing efforts on both a city and national level.
  • Continually improve clubhouse operations by providing feedback on current systems, supervising member movements, and managing all building operations.
  • Manage Clubhouse P&L, ensuring revenue targets and EBITDA are met or exceeded, and assist in the preparation and coordination of budget variances.
  • At least 4 years' experience managing a diverse, highperforming team.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in an account management, sales, or business development role.
  • Prior managerial experience in a premium coworking provider or 56 star hospitality venue.
  • A desire to provide oversight across all operational areas, including P&L.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities while remaining solutionoriented.
  • Excellent communication, attention to detail, and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in presentation skills for regular communication with our community.
  • A passion for customer relationship management and the capability to develop new business opportunities.
  • Strong leadership skills, able to motivate your team, peers, contractors, and service providers towards a common goal.
