The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Fitter to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

  • Carry out work requests for corrective and preventative maintenance
  • Provide quality technical skills and knowledge on maintenance requirements
  • Liaise with customers to understand corrective and preventative maintenance repair requirements
  • Ensure effective communication with Trade and/or Maintenance Coordinator on a regular basis
About you


To be successful in this position you will require:

  • A recognised Australian Trade Qualification or equivalent
  • Driver's License
  • Participation in an oncall roster
  • Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against
  • Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 1
  • Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
  • Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
  • Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

  • Permanent full time
  • Base salary ranging from $84 331 per annum
