The Role

An opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Fitter to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will

Carry out work requests for corrective and preventative maintenance
Provide quality technical skills and knowledge on maintenance requirements
Liaise with customers to understand corrective and preventative maintenance repair requirements
Ensure effective communication with Trade and/or Maintenance Coordinator on a regular basis

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

A recognised Australian Trade Qualification or equivalent
Driver's License
Participation in an oncall roster
Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against
Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Pertussis (Whooping Cough), Hepatitis B and COVID 1
Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

Salary

Permanent full time
Base salary ranging from $84 331 per annum
