Position Overview:


We are seeking an exceptionally skilled Reliability and Asset Management Contractor to join our client for a 6-month contract period.

In this role, you will play a critical part in maximising equipment reliability, minimising downtime, and enhancing overall asset performance within their manufacturing facilities.

Your time will be split between two sites in the Northern and Western suburbs of Melbourne - how you split that time is entirely up to you


Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement asset management strategies to optimise equipment performance and reliability.
  • Conduct root cause analyses to identify and address recurring equipment failures.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to prioritize maintenance activities and ensure efficient asset utilization.
  • Utilize predictive maintenance tools and techniques to anticipate and prevent equipment failures.
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure asset performance and reliability.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to maintenance teams for troubleshooting and problemsolving.
  • Monitor and analyse maintenance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in reliability engineering and asset management within an FMCG or similar manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of maintenance best practices, including preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
  • Proficiency in utilizing reliability tools such as Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
  • Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a crossfunctional team environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities.
