We have an opportunity for an emerging HR professional to join the Melbourne People & Performance team in the role of People & Performance (P&P) Coordinator.


The P&P Coordinator will provide daily support to the Melbourne P&P team and assist with the resolution of general queries, administrative tasks, employee changes and other ad hoc people-related requests.

This role will be a key administrative contact for our internal People Helpdesk team.


The P&P Coordinator will also play a key role in providing administrative support and assistance in coordinating the Melbourne Seasonal Clerk & Graduate programs, and all related recruitment campaign activity associated with these programs.


The role would ideally suit an enthusiastic and motivated coordinator who is looking to grow their HR knowledge and skills within professional services.

Key responsibilities


Provide daily administrative support to the P&P team and assist with the resolution of general employee queries as the first point of contact.

Responsible for administering and coordinating P&P documentation (including, but not limited to employment agreements, employee letters, checklists).
Assist in coordinating all aspects of the Melbourne Seasonal Clerk & Graduate programs.
Assist in the coordination of all of Employee Wellbeing programs.
Organising and coordinating the administration of work experience students.
Provide new employee orientation support.

Assist in coordinating our staff movements' process including the onboarding of new employees, employee changes and employee departures as required.

Required skills and experience

Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources and / or 2 years' work experience in a professional environment.
Experience working with recruitment / talent management software and document management software.
Outstanding time management skills, and the ability to multi-task competing priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, producing high quality work.
Ability to effectively support a wide variety of internal stakeholders, with the highest commitment to service.
A curious and analytical mindset and strong MS Office and Excel skills.
Capable of independently and as part of a national team.
