    The Role

    We are currently seeking a passionate and service-obsessed Food & Beverage Manager to lead the food & beverage operation (Restaurant and Banquets, including weddings) at Peppers Craigieburn. Reporting directly to the General Manager the primary responsibilities for this hands-on position include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide a creative and insightful approach to maximising opportunity in each service period
  • Utilise your extensive knowledge of fine wine and exceptional service to not only provide first hand but also ensure the team deliver memorable experiences
  • Draw on your strong leadership skills to engage, motivate and develop your team and create a positive workplace culture
  • Work alongside the Executive Chef to create Menus as well as Wine and Beverage Lists
  • Manage all operational requirements of the Food & Beverage Department
  • Complete all administrative and planning elements for the department including, but not limited to, rostering, reporting, packages and promotions, recruitment, people management, stocktake and ordering
  • Drive revenue and increase exposure

    • About You

  • Hold a valid NSW RSA
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as Food & Beverage Manager or Assistant Food & Beverage Manager in a similar business
  • Sound operational experience of conferencing, weddings and events
  • Demonstrated ability to work within allocated budgets, stock control and rostering
  • Strong communicator with well-developed stakeholder management (internal and external)
  • Ability to work a flexible roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays
  • Exceptionally organised with the ability to prioritise with sense of urgency
  • Ability to remain calm when under pressure.
