***: The Manager, Divisional Coordination and Corporate Support (DCCS) is responsible for managing a high number of complex divisional processes to meet government and corporate requirements. The role works with a wide range of senior stakeholders, drives continuous improvement and coordinates the delivery of critical divisional outputs.


The Manager has four direct reports and operates in a time-critical and demanding environment, which requires an ability to exercise sound judgement and build strong relationships with key people.


Reporting to the Manager/Strategic Adviser, Office of the Deputy Secretary, Commissioning and System Improvement, the Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the division runs smoothly and for promoting a culture of collaboration.

Accountabilities:


  • Lead the development and implementation of processes and systems for the effective monitoring and coordination of departmental objectives.
  • Provide timely, highquality and accurate information and advice on issues related to a range of key stakeholders.
  • Maintain an excellent understanding of issues impacting the health service sector. Proactively identify opportunities and manage risk.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders and senior staff and develop innovative strategies and methods which assist the department to deliver on key objectives and initiatives.
  • Represent the department on internal and external committees and meetings and promote a broader understanding of policy objectives.
  • Where responsible for overseeing, monitoring or delivering projects, ensure they are delivered in accordance with relevant legislation and government regulations and guidelines.
  • Provide strategic thinking and future planning and oversee change management initiatives.
  • Effectively manage and provide leadership to a team of employees by:Keep accurate and complete records of your work activities in accordance with legislative requirements and the department's records, information security and privacy policies and requirements.
- leading and supporting individuals to achieve their potential and contribution to organisational goals and outcomes.
- modelling behaviours integral to good people management and departmental values.
