This diverse and rarely available position is for an Education Outdoors Teacher.

The nature of the rich learning environment of this opportunity would suit the highly motivated graduate, freelance outdoor educator with VIT looking to refine their educational focus or an established Education Outdoors Teacher seeking further diversity to their professional practice and program base.

Based from MLC Banksia, this position involves teaching and leadership on Marshmead expeditions and, combines a traditional centre based Outdoor Education role with a strong focus on the educational intent and links to college and national academic and wellbeing curriculums.

Methodist Ladies' College is one of Australia's most respected and innovative schools, with over 2,100 students from our Early Learning Centre to Year 12.

MLC Banksia is located on the Banksia Peninsula, offering excellent access to the Gippsland Lakes and environs. MLC Banksia provides curriculum based sequential Education Outdoors programs for students from Years - 8.

MLC Banksia is seeking a dynamic educator with a passion for innovative outdoor education to join their dedicated team at our Gippsland Lakes site, commencing ASAP.

The successful applicant will possess sound outdoor experience and qualifications in sailing Whitewater rafting and caving, and first aid together with a solid grounding in environmental education and pastoral care.
