About the role - We are currently seeking a professional person to join our administration team in the position of Assistant to the Business Manager. The primary purpose of the Assistant to the Business Manager role is to provide high level support to the College Business Manager in meeting the College's broad financial and administrative obligations to ensure the on-going viability of the College.
About you - The successful applicant will have a well-developed knowledge of financial practices and procedures relating to the accounts receivable functions as follows:
- You have well-developed knowledge of financial practices, procedures and reporting relating to the accounts receivable function.
- You ensure accuracy of information being entered into the financial systems, ensuring compliance with relevant Government legislation, BCE policy and financial delegations.
- You contribute positively and proactively to the team's ability to achieve deadlines, within agreed timeframes and competing priorities.
- You demonstrate professionalism and probity; and engage in continuous improvement of work practices, systems and processes.
- You are supportive of the Ecumenical College ethos and foster supportive family relationships.
- Providing financial and administrative insights and support to the Business Manager as required.
