Ballarat Motor Winders Pty Ltd have been providing new products and services relevant to electric motors, electric motor gearboxes, stationary and portable generators, various pumps, various compressors, high pressure water pumps, heater/cooler fan motors to the Ballarat and surrounding region for the last 40 years.

The person required by Ballarat Motor Winders Pty Ltd on a full-time basis must possess and be able to demonstrate the that outlined below:

Responsibility 1 - Undertake disassemble, reassemble, conduct electrical tests, replace parts & assemble electrical motors

• Electrical Fitting
• Disassemble
• Fault Finding
• Assess condition of AC and DC motors
• Carry out Static Electrical tests
• Carry out repairs
• Reassemble

Responsibility 2 - Inspecting designs and finished products for compliance with specifications and regulations


Responsibility 3 - Rewinding of the following:

• High/Low Voltage AC and DC Electric Motors Workshop
• Alternators for generators both portable and stationary

Responsibility 4 - Repair of the following:
a. Various types of pumps (electrical & mechanical)

b. Generators both portable and stationary other than alternators (electrical)


Responsibility 5 - Electric motor works on various items including those that require an electric motor or electricity to perform what it has been designed


Responsibility 6 - Conduct detailed analysis and inspections to determine necessary maintenance and repair method of AC and DC Electric Motors.


Responsibility 7 - Ensure safe working procedures and practices are always followed including the wearing and maintenance of assigned Personal Protective Equipment, attendance at

required health, safety and environment training, report injury, incidents, hazards and

near miss events. Model safe work behaviour in all aspects of work and actively identify

hazards and risk control.

• Adhere to laws, codes, statutory rules and regulations, industry, and national standards.
• Work in a safe manner with respect to self and others
• Undertake works to schedule and quality requirements
• Adherence to company policy requirements and standards

skills, experience required

• Experience in AC & DC LV/HV Motors & Generators
• A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar industry and winding experience for LV/HV Electric Motors
• Knowledge in stationary and portable generators, water pumps, electric motor gearboxes, high pressure water pumps and heater/cooler fan motors
• Experience with Rotating Electrical Equipment such as high voltage Motors and Generators will be advantageous.
• Experience in disassembly, reassembly and conduct electrical tests on motors.

Salary:
$70, $75,000.00 per year

• Delacombe, VIC 3356: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
