The Opportunity

Operations Administrator in our
Wangara site. With a proud history starting in Adelaide, today Fielders manufactures and markets steel building products across Australia. We deliver customer-inspired outcomes that support architects, engineers, builders, installers and property owners in creating their vision.


In this exciting role, you will play an integral part in coordinating and supporting the office administration of the operations team at our
Wangara site.

This is a full-time position which offers the flexibility of hybrid working allowing you to work from home and in the office. This role is a great opportunity which has the potential to provide flexible work hours to fit your lifestyle. The specific workdays can be discussed during the interview.**
The hours of work will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.

What Will You Do?

As a trusted Operations Administrator, you will:

  • support induction and onboarding programs, welcoming new staff into the BlueScope safety culture
- support and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) for training and compliance purposes
- identify improvements with our systems and processes and assist with database management
- supporting the team with injury management and return to work coordination
- work closely with the labour hire providers and coordinate the contractor requirements
- work collaboratively with production, maintenance and operations teams and be solution focused
- be innovative, agile and have a proactive approach to drive business innovation


More About You
You will either have previous administrative experience or tertiary education in business/equivalent experience with proficient skills in Microsoft Office. You take a consultative and supportive approach but can be decisive when required.


Someone who enjoys working with people, you will have proficient interpersonal skills as well as an adaptable and influencing communication style.

Working in a busy environment, you do not lose sight of the objective and can ensure you stay on top of things.
