Description

Great Southern Bank is seeking a new Operations Officer within Customer Operations to join the team on a permanent full-time basis.

The Customer Operations team manage all functions relating to Customer Lifecycle and deposit products and their associated payments. You will assist with Term Deposits, Customer Resignations, Customer Onboarding, Customer profile management and Deceased Estate.

This hybrid position is based in our Brisbane CBD office with the flexibility to work from home two days per week.


Your responsibilities:


  • Comprehend and respond to unique customer and internal enquiries via a number of channels including digital and voice
  • Manage customers FACTA/CRS requirements in line with regulatory obligations
  • Support the growth of the Bank via customer onboarding through our digital platforms and branch network
  • Leverage internal and external relationships with relevant stakeholders to drive better customer experiences

About you:


  • Experience in customer service or financial services industry
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and part of a team
  • Professional phone manner with keen attention to detail
