Who are we looking for?

Come and join this innovative and child focused team, help shape the way we practice and influence the Stronger Together program.

We are seeking a Supervisor that has a strong passion and understanding of the child protection sector, as well as culturally safe and trauma informed practice.

Our Integrated Family Services provide a range of tailored services to strengthen families and improve the wellbeing of children and young people.

You will need to be able to display leadership skills and build valued relationships with external stakeholders, manage complex issues, and allocate and monitor workloads.

What can you expect to be doing?

Provide clinical supervision, develop, and monitor staff within Integrated Family Services on case issues and escalate risk in line with procedures.
Regular reviews of cases to ensure effective plans are in place and appropriate case management is occurring.
Ensure assessment and responsiveness to risks efficiently and ensure required reporting it completed and followed up.
Implement a strengthsbased childcentric approach to practice across family services in working with children, young people and families.

What do you need to bring?

Experience in effective case management with families including holistic, consultative, and collaborative approaches.
Proven ability to work with First Nations communities, Culturally and Linguistically Diverse and Newly Arrived communities.
Qualifications: A relevant tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Early Childhood and/or related Social Sciences at degree level, or extensive relevant experience.
