The Role:

Reporting to the Branch Manager at our Port Melbourne Branch, we are seeking an ambitious and motivated Accounts Manager with experience to meet our customers day-to-day service expectations as well as performing as part of the team.

You will be passionate about building strong, customer-focused relationships that keeps raising the standards in delivering excellent customer service.


Duties include:


  • Manage daytoday requirements of key accounts.
  • Updating customers with daily lead times. Ensuring deadlines are fulfilled.
  • Build a strong relationship with key suppliers.
  • Protect the interests of the company with thorough management and understanding of the project being quoted.
  • Promote add on sales.
  • Quote follow up. Daily/weekly.
  • Maintain good communication with contractors to assure timely and efficient completion of expedited projects, proper communication of issues and documentation of the entire project process.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project schedule which includes administrative and other tasks involved within the project coordinators scope.
  • Collate all project information: schedules, and maintenance manuals upon request.
  • Manage and update, in conjunction with Branch Manager, CRM customer accounts & contacts with current information.

Essential skills:


  • Previous Commercial or industrial experience is advantageous
  • Good customer service skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good communication skills
