Across all our research areas, we aim to strike a balance between demand-driven research, which solves defined problems for industry and society, and researcher-driven research, which is characterised by a desire to push the limits of understanding.

Our research is broad in scope, encompassing a range of fields in science, engineering, health, society, engineering, health, society, business and more.

Your new role

Provide support to research stakeholders by providing interpretation and ethics advice based on a broad understanding of a range of university policies and external requirements.
Engage and liaise with key university stakeholders (e.g., Researchers, Research Office, People and Culture, Digital and Technology Solutions/DTS, and research participants.
Support the embedding of a change in the service delivery offered to Curtin's Researchers by always being committed to improvement and new ways of working.

Area-specific responsibilities:

Secretariat duties to relevant committees based on appropriate risk level.
Provide and coordinate training for researchers, students and other stakeholders.
Records management, including archiving and advice to researchers about relevant disposal authorities.

As this is a continuing (permanent) role, you will require permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.
