Our client is in the enviable position of running a very profitable gold mine and has firmed up a significant reserve.

Currently producing 3-400,000 ounces for the next 3 years and a 10 + year mine life with over 3 million ounces of defined mineral resources and closing on 5 million measured and indicated.

When you're mining at under $1,500 per ounce, you end up looking at significant mine and mining operations.

To keep a mine like that running effectively and efficiently, you need clever people who want to bring clever projects to bear utilising all that technology and people smarts can deliver to drive innovation.

With that in mind, we're now looking for a P roject Engineer/Project Manager, at Superintendent level, of Processing Projects to scope out, plan and then deliver all processing capital projects to assist in achieving a throughput rate targeted rate of 10 Mtpa, with the mine currently utilising pebble crushers, SAG and ball mills.

These projects will include the construction, installation, upgrade, refurb/repair, improvement, movement, decommission & demolition of facilities and associated infrastructures.
We're after a project engineer with significant project management experience in open pit and processing operations. As PM, you'll be managing internal and external teams to ensure projects tick all boxes of safe delivery. You will need to be skilled at managing subcontracts and ensuring targets are clearly communicated. And met.

To be successful in this role, you will need significant experience in a mechanical or electrical background on a gold processing site, with a related degree or noteworthy trade experience.

We'd love to see any qualifications in business or project management too.
This role pays very well and comes with a sizeable bonus incentive.
