Job Description:


Your New Role


We have an exciting opportunity for a Service delivery Manager to come in and support our Federal Government Program to deliver an enterprise data platform that will become the backend to drive one of the most visited websites in Australia.


The complexity of this program will be the rolling out of a new system into a live environment, therefore the Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for the overall success of Go Live and transition into the support teams ensuring the framework that has been designed during build and test phases is fit for purpose.


Opportunities to delivery impact in this role include:

  • Being the delivery conduit for the Program team, including understanding the nuances of the roll out per release;
  • You will be leading a small team to deliver ITILbased services to operate and support Leidosdeveloped solutions within a multivendor collaborative environment;
  • Establishing a trusted advisor relationship with the customer and key stakeholders for each release of the program, in both planning and Go Live phase;
  • Ensuring risks are adequately captured and mitigated throughout planning and ensuring successful transitions in a high risk, live environment;
  • Being an integrated member of the Program leadership team to collectively ensure high quality delivery of the program against the customers' requirements.

Qualifications:


About You

  • You have experience in managing the delivery, sustainment and roll out of complex ICT systems.
  • Experience working with defence and/or federal government customers is important due to knowledge of their delivery frameworks.
  • You will also bring experience delivering the roll out of complex systems, in high risk or live environments.
  • Solid understanding of ITIL frameworks and implementation, set up of ITIL processes.

_ As part of the program leadership team, you are a natural leader and role model and excel in solving complex and often ambiguous problems. You have a proven track record of establishing trusted relationships with customers at the Executive level._

_ Applicants must hold Australian citizenship and ideally a Baseline clearance, in order to be eligible to apply._
