Contract Duration : 06/02/2023 to 30/06/2023** (with possible extension)


The Role:


The role is responsible for the expected outcomes associated with contract management and maintenance, and contractor performance monitoring and reporting activities for whole-of-Government panel arrangements and other supply agreements within the portfolio as well as developing and assisting in creation of documentation and processes to go to market for various WoG Standing Offer Arrangements.


Key Responsibilities:

As the ICT Contract Manager, ICT Category Management, you will be responsible for:

  • Undertake work practices in line with the requirements of the One Government Contract Management Framework.
  • Establish Standing Offer Arrangements (SOA) including negotiating terms, conditions and commercials with multiple vendors, drafting SOAs, evaluating tenders, preparing contracts for execution
  • Prepare and maintain procurement documentation such as Buyer's Guides, Fact sheets, and other contract artefacts.
  • Prepare reports on supplier and contract performance and benefits.
  • Participate in wholeofgovernment ICT category management activities, including procurement, vendor and contract management operational processes.
  • Facilitate effective communications and foster relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders.
  • Respond to enquiries and provide a high level of customer support through management of a range of communications channels.
  • Other activities as required to facilitate effective contract and vendor management.

What We Are Looking For:

For this role, we will consider how well you:

  • Proven contract management experience preferably in the ICT industry.
  • Proven experience negotiating complex contracts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with divisional associates, agency partners and vendors.
  • Experience in vendor management preferably at a senior stakeholder level.
  • Ability to prepare written contract management documentation.
  • Ability to analyse and resolve issues in respect to the contract management lifecycle.

The desirable skills that ICT Strategic Sourcing is looking for is someone that has and can:

  • work with the QITC (Qld IT Contracting) Framework
- create Significant Procurement Plans
- create Evaluation Plans
- create QITC Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) Invitation to Offer (ITO) documents
- work with and consult with various stakeholders both internal and external to government

  • These skills are required as there are a number of Significant Procurement Plans, Evaluation Plans and Invitation to offer (Tenders) documents, using the QITC framework to be created and sent out to vendors for their responses to then be evaluated and shortlisted.
