About the opportunity
We are excited to be seeking 2 x part-time Venue and Bookings Officer to join our Events Team on a permanent basis as below:1 x permanent, part-time - 21 hours per week

1 x permanent, part-time - 14 hours per week.


Qualifications and experience

Essential:


  • Tertiary qualification in Event Management or Marketing or a related field
  • Solid experience in a similar field
  • Ability to work within a team environment and with mínimal supervision
  • RSA certificate
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Current Class "C" driver's licence.

Desirable:


  • Experience with food and beverage
  • Available to work flexible working hours during the week or on weekends.

Remuneration and benefits
The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council's Enterprise Agreement.

  • Entry level for this position starts at $1,452.48 per week, prorata
  • 21 and 14 hour working week
  • Employee benefits such as leave entitlements (where applicable), 11% employer contribution payable to your nominated superannuation fund, Fitness Passport, gym membership discounts, and social clubs.
