Your new role


Our processing plant, a continuous operation facility is seeking a qualified and experienced Fitter to join our plant maintenance team.

Based at Coolaroo,
VIC and reporting to the Site Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for:


  • Maintain, repair, and improve fixed and rotating equipment to ensure optimal plant performance;
  • Conduct planned equipment repairs & maintenance, and unplanned breakdowns effectively while maintaining best practice and safety standards;
  • Must be prepared to work overtime, public holidays (which includes Easter, Christmas day and New year) and occasionally on weekends.

Your skills and experience

  • Understand the importance of Health & Safety compliance on work site and adhere to the company's Health & Safety policies and practises
  • Experienced fitter from a industrial environment
  • Certificate III in Engineering
  • Mechanical Trade (completed apprenticeship)
  • Previous sheet metal welding and fabrication experience
  • Previous experience in heavy industrial machinery, conveying and rotating equipment
  • Have well developed interpersonal skills and be a team player.
  • Welldeveloped problemsolving ability, must be able to work under pressure and deliver results
  • Selfmotivated, work under mínimal supervision
  • Good work ethic

  • Have a good sense of urgency
  • Good communication skills
