- Ability to produce and maintain welding standards compliant to AS1554.
- Ability to identify Category A,B & C Welding environments and their applicable management controls.
- Ability to apply and practice safety as a way of life for your commitment to work.
- Experience in Thermic Lancing and Air Arc Gouging processes.
- Experience in maintaining and servicing excavators, mobile earthmoving equipment and fixed plant
- Knowledge of conducting safety inspections and completing JSEA's, Risk Assessments & Permits

About the role:
We are currently seeking a Boilermaker at our Wilpinjong mine. Our Wilpinjong mine is an open-cut mine located 58 kilometers northeast of Mudgee producing a high quality thermal coal for export and domestic markets.
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will complete planned and unplanned maintenance of Peabody's mining equipment as directed by the Leading Hand / Supervisor to the required standards. You will also comply with all site and statutory OH&S regulations and maintain a strong focus on safety for yourself and others including the use of site safety systems.
