Our new 134 bed Griffith Centre in Canberra is conveniently located near the CBD, Lake Burley Griffin, shopping precincts and local parks.

This energy efficient and environmentally sustainable building has been designed to ensure we can meet the care needs of the local community now and into the future.


BaptistCare Griffith is an innovative and modern looking facility, built to cater for people with low care, high care and dementia care needs.

All our rooms feature ensuites, the facility also offers extra services


About the role
BaptistCare hospitality division is seeking a
Laundry Assistant on a casual basis to deliver laundry services to our residents.

You will enjoy working in a team who are committed and being able make a difference in the lives of residents across three aged care centres in Macquarie Park.


Duties may include:


  • Laundry duties
  • Sorting & folding linen
  • Working to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanliness

About you


The successful applicant will be a team player who enjoys interacting with older people and has the right heart and drive to serve.

Previous experience in laundry along with understanding of work health and safety practices will be an advantage. You will also have the ability to work unsupervised and take on physically demanding tasks.
