About the Company


Core Talent have partnered with a global renewable energy developer with a strong presence in Australia, their Australian head office being in Melbourne, VIC.

Their global portfolio includes onshore wind, offshore wind, utility scale solar and BESS projects however currently focus solely on solar farms in Australia.

They have a large pipeline of work for the next few years and are looking to expand their engineering team to fulfil project needs

About the role


As the Engineering Manager, you will be working closely with the CTO to put together the team strategy and oversee the design and solar engineering function.

You will also help to grow the team in line with the companies ambitious growth plans which will allow them to thrive and succeed in the Australian renewable energy market.


Duties

  • Manage a team of engineers providing guidance and support
  • Assist with the development of solar PV design
  • DC, AC, SCADA, Protection, Earthing and SCADA design
  • Build strong relationships with EPC's
  • Provide engineering support to other departments in the company

Skills and Experience

  • 10+ years experience in electrical/solar PV engineering
  • Extensive experience working on utility scale solar farms
  • Degree educated in electrical engineering or renewable energy
  • Knowledge of PVsyst, AutoCAD or other PV design tools
  • Ideally managed a team
