Medium Rare, Australia's leading content marketing agency, has a timely opportunity as the desire for travel increases to lead the project management of our exclusive Qantas Frequent Flyer content partnership by supporting the Partnerships Managers to drive new long-term partnership outcomes and increase current commercial relationships.

Operating at the highest standards of client service you will work internally and externally to plan and manage strategic Qantas marketing programs and Platinum One Event implementation end to end and take financial and operational responsibility for Qantas Group.


The Qantas Campaign Executive is a critical resource to Qantas editorial team, national Qantas media sales team, digital ad operations team and our video production team acting as the first-point of contact and the conduit to ensure all requirements are met and pioneer the post-production, post-sales process and post-campaign performance: from creation and management of client deadlines, budgets, content plans, though to execution and measurement, encompassing several stages of client approval and reporting.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Drive productivity and contribute to improving campaign effectiveness through regular review of processes
  • Assist the Rare Creative design team in the organisation and execution of photo shoots and manage contracts/supplier agreements when required.
  • Provide support with event delivery from end to end, including site visits, meetings, talent, run sheets, promotion, logistics and financials/invoicing.
  • Taking and interrogating client briefs to ensure they are comprehensive, managing client feedback, coordinating the day to day of various accounts ensuring all campaigns/projects are managed and delivered on time, high quality and to budget
  • Create critical paths for multiple projects ensuring they are not conflicting, working with internal stakeholders on management of timelines and take stewardship of workflow and content management systems (for example, project management tool Wrike)
  • Draw on a range of data sources to come to conclusions and present them, with their evidence, in written form (e.g. commercial strategies, research reports, performance reports, PIRs) and at meeting presentations.

Skills and Experience:


  • You should have 23 years handson experience with either a content publisher, brand, or agency working in account service, marketing or client production management and very proficient with client relations
  • Proficient understanding of Google Suite
  • You're proactive and take a solutionsdriven approach to conversations with stakeholders. You love to talk to clients, embrace stakeholderfacing activities like meetings and presentations and pride yourself on exceptional service
  • You have demonstrated experience in campaign trafficking and are comfortable taking a leadership role managing campaigns on a daytoday basis
  • Attention to detail and the ability to adapt and prioritise based on client needs is essential, while also balancing the workloads of internal staff
  • You're financially savvy and have a strong understanding of invoicing and basic accountkeeping processes
  • You have a genuine love of learning. You can master workflow and accounts systems and share your learning with the team
  • Extensive experience writing in a professional context including formats such as presentations, sales pitches, reports, strategy documents and social media content
  • Ability to develop proactive and innovative content concepts for multiple suppliers or partners for owned and paid media channels
  • Some experience supporting client leads, partnership managers or commercial teams in the development of marketing materials or new business materials
  • Some experience working with multiple brands or projects briefed by clients, either by working in an agency or consultancy or with commercial teams at a media publisher
