Organisation;

Brightside Recruitment is representing a growing Not-for-Profit organisation that providing services to children and young people aged 12 and 24 years old.

Role;
Our client is looking to fill a key role within their organisation.

The role of CSRS will be responsible for overall Carer support, training, assessment, panel and authorisation, and matching of young people with Carers.

You will also work alongside the OOHC Manager to recruit and retain Carers. The CSRC will ensure carers have the skills required to undertake their role as a Carer.

The CSRS provides a key leadership role in the collaborative assessment, matching and transition process of the children and young people who are in our care or those being referred from external agencies.

Criteria;

Relevant tertiary degree in social work, welfare, psychology or related disciplines and/or experience
Experience working within an Out of Home Care program
Two years' experience directly engaging and supporting foster carers
Shared Lives Trainer and Assessment experience or willingness to achieve this
Two years' experience providing program leadership within a team environment
Training and Assessment skills including the presentation/facilitation of

training/information sessions and conducting pre accreditation assessments.

Additional Information;

Immediate start available
Current NSW drivers licence required
Must have access to a fully insured vehicle for work purposes
A successful NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police check is required prior to starting in this role
