Experienced Legal Secretary to provide a high level of support to fee earners as part of a team of secretaries and enjoy the freedom of streamlining processes to increase efficiency and performance.
You will cover a broad range of property transactions across the industrial, commercial, retail and residential sectors, including sales and disposals, leasing, large-scale and boutique developments and strategic property advice.
Your primary duties will also include, but are not limited to:
Prioritising and delegating some tasks to offshore administrative assistants;
Time entry, the preparation and processing of client bills and credit card expenses;
Opening and closing a high volume of new files including drafting cost agreements;
Preparing matter status and billing reports for clients;
Manual and electronic filing of matters and preparing for the archiving process; and
Co-ordinating and recording attendance at CLEs and organising team meetings, team retreats and team social events.
About you
You enjoy maintaining ownership of your role in a very busy and dynamic environment where no two days are the same.
In addition to this, ideally, you will have:
Experience as a legal secretary;
Strong attention to detail;
The ability to prioritise and work efficiently in a time-sensitive environment;
Excellent organisational skills;
A personable and friendly disposition, and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels; and
Knowledge of Aderant Exert for billing is advantageous.
