Mental Health Clinician - Orygen Recovery (YPARC)
Ongoing full-time role | Based in Parkville:
Rotating roster; AM, PM, weekends (no nights) | Flexibility and work-life balance:

Your new team
- Join the expanding Orygen Recovery, a Youth Prevention & Recovery Care (YPARC) service providing subacute care in a bedbased residential 24 hours, 7 days a week program supporting young people aged 1625 stepping up/down to intervene early and prevent further deterioration
Your new role:
- Partner with young people and provide clinical interventions, mental health assessment, risk assessment, formulation, treatment and crisis management
- Escalation of care liaise with other services within Orygen and community services
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, share disciplinespecific insight, supervision and training, and provide shiftbyshift leadership
- Work with lived experience workforce and families/carers to support young people with their recovery goals
- Provide inclusive and sensitive practice to young people and their families/carers from Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander, CALD and LGBTQIA backgrounds
About you:
- Registration and qualifications in a relevant area of practice (see position description for details)
- 2+ years' experience in mental health as well as advanced clinical skills, assessment and management of highrisk clinical situations, including with young people
- Knowledge of mental health system of care, the common mental health and substance use issues faced by young people, and evidencebased treatments for major adolescent health issues
