This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated sales professional who thrives on delivering exceptional customer service and advice in a premium retail setting.

As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be at the helm of our sales team catering to a diverse clientele, including the general public, interior designers, architects, and builders.

You will oversee the team to ensure top-notch customer service, participate in selection consultations and previews, all while engaging customers enthusiastically with a touch of professionalism and style.

Your responsibilities are varied, including upholding excellent customer satisfaction, supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales and margin targets, and overseeing the team's performance to ensure they excel under your guidance.

Reporting to the Store Manager, your daily tasks will revolve around enhancing the store's success through activities like sales, coaching, business planning, fostering relationships, team building, and maintaining the store's aesthetics.

To excel in this role, you need:

  • Previous experience in a similar team leadership or assistant management position.
  • Industry-related background (flooring, hardware, building, etc., preferred).
  • Strong retail, sales, and service acumen.
  • Proven track record of meeting and surpassing team sales targets.
  • Experience in motivating and developing sales teams.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels.
  • A drive for personal growth and success.
