Brunel is partnering with a global leader in inspection, verification, testing, and certification services, who are searching for an experienced Well Test Supervisor to join their team in the Surat Basin, QLD.

About this role

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operation of Surface Well Test equipment, providing detailed reporting of surface and downhole conditions to the operator and client management.

Primary Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to customer representatives as needed.
Interpret complex P&IDs related to Well Test installations.
Monitor maintenance programs for field equipment.
Operate all equipment, including the test separator, confidently and independently.
Oversee full package test operations, including slickline/wireline services.
Conduct field training for Well Test personnel.
Ensure high levels of performance from the supervised crew.
Plan, organize, and direct personnel across multiple well sites when required.
Communicate delays or issues occurring in the field to management and manage onsite issues.
Accurately report surface and downhole test data, ensuring relevance and accuracy.
Communicate relevant information to the customer to ensure a successful operation.
Report all near misses and hazardous situations to the Supervisor/Manager.
Assist in the Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) program.
Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and effective manner.

About you

Experience in Well Testing.
Oilfield Well site services (extensive experience in oil field preferred) with strong multiskill experience in well test service or offshore, testing and early production systems.
Experience in a related or lower level supervisory role.
Well site Permit to Work Holder and Authority training.
Senior First Aid, 4WD, CV Crane advantageous.
Advanced Well Test training advantageous.
Able to interpret complex P&IDs relating to Well Test installations.
Adept in planning and organisation of personnel across multiple well sites.
Able to oversee full package test operations inc slickline/wireline services.

2/2 roster 12 hour days in Surat Basin (could vary depending on projects)
