We are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic / Fitter & Turner to join a family owned & operated Piling company specializing in bulk excavation and piling based in Sunbury.

Reporting directly to the Work Shop Manager and working alongside another Diesel Mechanic, the Fitter & Turner / Diesel Mechanic will repair and maintain extensive fleet of heavy machinery i.e.

Piling Rigs / Bob Cats / Excavators.

Work Shop Located in Sunbury / Bulla
Immediate Start

- $50 per hour

Pending experience
Day Shift | Monday to Friday + OT
Must have current drivers license & HC License (advantage)
Family friendly working environment

The role will involve but not be limited to:_

The routine servicing and breakdown repairs
Required to repair augers, core barrels, heavy machinery and buckets along with general fabrication and welding
Conducting quality inspections
Workshop preventative and breakdown maintenance on diesel fleet of cranes trucks and vehicles
Occasional local site work for breakdowns
Strong experience in maintenance and repairs
Ability to follow and update service maintenance schedules and prioritise works to support operational capability
Accurate and timely completion of relevant servicing paperwork
Relevant trade qualification
Demonstrated experience in hydraulics, electrical and mechanical servicing as well as repairs
Troubleshooting, diagnostic and preventative maintenance skills
Experience with heavy equipment, Cranes, access equipment or similar would also be highly regarded

Pay:
$ $60.00 per hour
