About This Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Postdoctoral Research Fellow to focus their efforts on developing their expertise and emerging research profile in their discipline.

The primary purpose of the position is to help us deliver a research project funded from the Royal Australian College for General Practitioners (RACGP)

Key responsibilities will include:

Lead the implementation of qualitative research methodologies through review and draw upon best practice research methodologies.
Lead the analysis and synthesis of key emerging themes across the research activity, as well as producing quality research outcomes.
Design and conduct participant interviews, workshops, data collection, management in accordance with study protocols, University policy and statutory requirements.

Criteria for Academic Performance

This is a part-time (80%), fixed-term position for 12 months at Academic level A.

The full-time equivalent base salary will be in the range $74,308 - $99,426, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%.

The total FTE package will be up to $86,941 - $116,329 annually.

About You- Completion or near completion of a PhD, preferably in a health-related field.- An emerging profile in research in the discipline area.- Evidence of publications in reputed refereed journals and presenting at conferences.- Evidence of contributions towards successfully obtaining external research funding.- Some experience in meaningful internal service roles and contributions towards external activities.- Understanding of and experience working in a health care / workforce research environment is preferred.- Current Queensland driver's license is preferred.
