The Opportunity

TAFE NSW currently has a Temporary full-time opportunity available within the Compliance & Assurance Team as a Regulatory Assurance Officer.

Location is negotiable across TAFE NSW North Region (see Information Package for a list of campus locations)


The Regulatory Assurance Officer is responsible for providing expert advice and support to stakeholders, to ensure compliance with standards set by regulatory bodies.

You will be part of a team that contributes to the development, implementation and review of policies, procedures and processes to ensure educational delivery.

Through continuous improvement strategies this role helps to implement corrective actions to ensure the provision of efficient and effective services


About you

We are looking for a proactive and motivated team member who is compliance focused and has a passion to problem solve.

You will need to be confident in decision making and can demonstrate good judgement when working on complex and sensitive tasks.

Your enjoyment to establish good stakeholder relationships, will improve outcomes for customers.


We would love to hear from you if you have.**- A Diploma, or above in relevant discipline or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.

  • Demonstrated experience in providing advice on regulations and standards within the VET and Higher Education sector.
  • Ability to address and meet focus capabilities as stated in the Position Description.

As a condition of employment, you will be required to obtain Working with Children Check (WWCC) clearance. For permanent positions you must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
