About the Role:


The Student Recruitment and Pathways Advisor participates in activities that promote Melbourne Polytechnic's programs, facilities and campuses to prospective students, educational providers, and career advisor networks.

This role aims to develop relationships with Secondary School stakeholders and assist in implementing Melbourne Polytechnic's Secondary School Strategy.


Duties:


  • Form and maintain relationships with Careers Practitioners in secondary schools and job search agencies to facilitate the promotion of Melbourne Polytechnic's courses and broader value proposition (e.g., campus tours, expo attendance, etc.).
  • Respond to all correspondence in a timely fashion, to arrange mutually beneficial activities (e.g., enquiries about courses, requests for tours, invitations to expos, etc.).
  • Represent Melbourne Polytechnic at regular Careers Network informationsharing meetings, and provide written reports outlining relevant market information for internal stakeholders.

Skills and Experience Required:


  • A current Police Check.
  • A current Working with Children's Check (Employee).
  • A current and valid Driver's License.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing professional relationships (both internal and external).
  • Event management experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Digital literacy and experience with Microsoft 365 Office Suite.
