Are you looking for an opportunity to be part of an innovative Council seeking to make a positive difference in the community you support? We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and experienced Waste Education Officer to join our team.

About the Role


You will be responsible for improving the sustainability of the community by developing, implementing and evaluating waste education programs and initiatives with a particular focus on multi-unit dwellings.


About You

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Environmental Studies or related discipline; or equivalent demonstrated experience and knowledge. Consideration will be given to the appointment of an applicant that is currently undertaking their tertiary studies but is yet to complete them
  • Proven high level verbal and written communication, with the ability to address and lead small groups and write complex reports
  • Proven ability to provide sound advice to customers and on waste and sustainability issues
  • A current 'Paid Worker
  • Working with Children Check' clearance (NSW); and
  • A current and valid C Class Driver Licence.
