We are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Technician to join our team. As a Field Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing various telecommunications systems. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently in the field.


Duties:

• Perform fiber splicing and termination for telecommunications networks
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco routers and other networking equipment
• Run cabling and perform low voltage wiring for network installations
• Conduct site surveys and assess customer needs for telecommunication services
• Use hand tools to assemble and disassemble equipment
• Test and troubleshoot telephone lines and network connections
• Provide technical support to customers and resolve any issues that arise
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of fiber splicing techniques and experience with fiber optic networks
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers and other networking equipment
• Experience with cabling and low voltage wiring installations
• Knowledge of telecommunication systems, including telephone lines and network infrastructure
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand tools effectively
• Familiarity with network installation best practices and industry standards
• Basic electrical knowledge for working with power sources

Salary:
$60, $90,000.00 per year
