Survey Draftsperson - Established Land Development Consultancy


Join a consultancy that has been providing civil engineering, land surveying and estate planning consulting services to the development industry for over 35 years.


The Opportunity


This position will have you drafting high quality urban design plans, subdivision layout plans, plans of subdivision, A-SPEC submissions, feature and level plans and associated documents that represent contemporary industry best practice.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Prepare plans of subdivision and survey plans in accordance with relevant design standards and company policies and quality practices
  • Preparation of urban design plans and layouts
  • Prepare other relevant documentation to support plans as required
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in processes and systems of work and recommend improvement actions
  • Work closely with Project Team(s) including Licensed Surveyors, Project Managers, Survey Field Staff, Design Engineers and Construction Supervisors to ensure the plan meets key requirements and deliverables.
  • Maintain knowledge and trends in Survey Standards
If you have the following, we would love to hear from you:

  • Experience with CAD Software
  • Understanding of surveying and drafting principles
  • Ability to take responsibility for allocated tasks/projects and follow through to completion
  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
  • Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
