About the Position

Based in Brisbane office and reporting to the Team Leader Procurement
Onshore D&C and working closely with the Procurement Category Lead
Wellsite Services, this position develops and delivers specialist procurement category support for Onshore Drilling and Completions. This is a market facing role with interaction with some of Santos' largest suppliers and works in a wellestablished diverse and collaborative team.

Key accountabilities include:

Leading procurement and commercial activities (strategy, sourcing, negotiation, and post award support) for a significant portfolio of high value multiasset/service contracts with international and local service providers
Contribute to procurement category plans and market intelligence in support of longterm company safety, sustainability, production and unit cost targets
Developing commercial acumen in a highly active operating environment including interaction with Joint Venture partner approvals
Identifying and supporting sustainability objectives through procurement process including emissions reduction and local content
Providing guidance and assurance to stakeholders on Santos and JV approval requirements
Maintaining supply chain assurance and compliance for assigned contracts
Supporting procuretopay activities for assigned contracts
Understanding change and performance mindset and contribute to continuous improvement
Effective and timely collaboration with internal and external stakeholders

About You

You will be experienced in:
Full procurement lifecycle activities, ideally within drilling and completions contracting or a technical environment
Operating systems to manage and analyse contacts and procurement data, with SAP or similar advantageous
Developing and maintaining positive and trusting relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Working with technical professionals to source products and services
Contributing to business improvements and delivering change to benefit your stakeholders and professional efficiencies, through a continuous improvement mindset
Ideally, you will be degree qualified in supply chain, law, commerce or engineering, and/or demonstrate sound experience within directly relevant role(s), within large corporate environments.
