The Role

MPB delivers quality commercial, contracting and procurement leadership and support across all major capital acquisition and sustainment products within the Department of Defence.
The high performing team delivers quality commercial outcomes across the Defence capability lifecycle including development of commercial and acquisition strategies, delivering procurement processes (including approach to market documentation development, evaluation, negotiation and probity support) as well as commercial and contract management support.
As a Contracting Officer within MPB you will be supporting the provision of commercial, contracting and procurement advice and support into commercial strategies, development of Approach to Market documentation, conduct of procurements, including evaluation, negotiation and probity support as well as commercial support in relation to contract management issues and risks.
You will be responsible for contributing to a high performing team, supporting productive relationships with stakeholders and clients, communicating effectively and supporting commercial outcomes that comply with Commonwealth Government legislation and policy requirements.
