About Our Client

Our client is looking for a motivated and professional Vendor Management Resource that will support a project they are working on around risk and compiance in their Sydney CBD office.


Your duties will include:


  • Vendor Relationship Management: Building strong relationships with vendors by communicating effectively, resolving issues, and addressing concerns.
  • Vendor Selection: Conducting research to identify potential vendors, evaluating vendor proposals and selecting the best vendor that meets the company's requirements.
  • Vendor Contract Management: Developing, reviewing, and negotiating vendor contracts, ensuring that they are legally sound and that they reflect the company's best interests.
  • Vendor Performance Monitoring: Monitoring vendor performance against key performance indicators (KPIs), addressing any issues and reporting on vendor performance.
  • Compliance: Ensuring that vendors comply with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Budget Management: Monitoring vendor expenses and ensuring that they are within budget and forecasting vendor expenses for budget planning purposes.
  • Vendor Database Management: Maintaining accurate and uptodate records of all vendors, including contact information, contracts, and performance data.
  • Risk Management: Identifying and managing risks associated with vendor relationships and implementing risk mitigation strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously improving vendor management processes and procedures, as well as identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

  • A degree in business administration, supply chain management or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in vendor management is highly valued.
  • Previous experiance across financial services or banking.
  • Initiative and ability to work independently.
  • Resilient and able to maintain composure when under pressure.
  • Strong organisation skills.
  • High attention to detail.
