We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Learning & Development Advisor to join our team at a Council in Melbourne's east.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and support the development and delivery of effective leadership programs and organisational capability development initiatives
  • Ensure compliance and foundation training requirements are met
  • Develop and deliver the annual corporate learning program
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of learning and development initiatives
  • Provide advice and support to managers and employees on learning and development opportunities
  • Manage relationships with external training providers and stakeholders
  • Maintain uptodate knowledge of learning and development trends, tools, and techniques

Key Requirements:


  • Relevant degree or diploma in Learning and Development, Human Resources, or related field
  • Experience in coordinating and supporting the development and delivery of effective leadership programs and organisational capability development initiatives
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies
  • Experience in compliance and foundation training
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in the use of learning management systems and elearning platforms
