About your role

As an Advice Services Consultant at Cbus, you'll provide support by identifying the advice needs of our members, generating meaningful conversation sharing factual information and providing general financial advice.


In this role, you will receive a range of superannuation and retirement inquiries from our members and your role is to identify their financial advice needs and either provide general advice or a referral to one of our Superannuation Advisers for personal advice.

You will help our members understand their Superannuation and retirement options and play a key role in developing their knowledge and confidence around their retirement position.

This role is a telephone-based role.

You will primarily take inbound calls, but you may also be required to make outbound calls to complete a member enquiry or in support of a targeted campaign to engage with members to discuss their Superannuation and retirement goals.

You will always provide members with a professional and high-quality member experience.

To be considered for this role you'll have:

  • RG146 qualification is essential, additional financial planning studies an advantage
  • Roughly, 2 years demonstrated experience in an advice service, superannuation consultant or related role
  • Understanding of the regulatory requirements associated with the provision of financial advice


Personally, you'll have excellent verbal and written skills and sound interpersonal skills to allow for effective sharing of information teamed with a strong customer service ethic and 'can do' attitude.
