Based in the Melbourne CBD, this law firm boast many accolades across a variety of locations and areas of law, a great working environment and are currently seeking a Legal Assistant to join them on a 12 month contract.
The Role
This is a 12 month Contract legal Assistant role supporting at partner level.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with clients at all level
- Preparing briefs for Counsel
- File and document management
- Expenses, timesheets and monthly billing
- Coordinating meetings
- Travel arrangements
- All other Secretarial duties as required
The following aspects are important for this position:
- Have a minimum of 3 years' legal experience
- Have intermediate MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Have confidence in dealing with people at all levels and the ability to maintain strong working relationships
- Be professionally presented
- Be highly motivated and organised with a cando attitude
